The class is enrolled in the Future Goals Hockey Scholar online course in partnership with the New Jersey Devils. Students in Grade 4 Room 304 have been taking the Future Goals Hockey Scholar online course, in partnership with the New Jersey Devils. The course uses the game of hockey to teach students about important science concepts, from calculating kinetic and potential energy to understanding phases of matter. They prepared the materials before the activity, used the quarter to serve as a puck and fork to represent the skate blades. We followed up with a Kahoot game. They had so much fun. Some students were so excited to share their "ice rinks."
