As part of Jersey City Public Schools' first official commemoration of Juneteenth, the District will mark the holiday with asynchronous instruction and a remote day for students and staff. The asynchronous remote day will allow everyone to participate in celebrations around the City. For the 2022 school calendar, on the third Friday in June, the District will be closed.

We are excited to begin our in-person/remote learning with students attending Thursday April 29th! Please use the In-Person Student Schedule below to help you plan the weeks ahead.

On Thursday, May 13, schools will be closed for in-person and remote learning in observance of Eid. I hope this year brings peace, prosperity, and happiness to everyone's life.

Sustainability STEAM Challenge K-2 Mural Design Finalists and Voting
The JCPS in partnership with the Office of Sustainability of Jersey City, are pleased to announce our 13 finalists in the Sustainability STEAM Challenge 2021 Mural Design Contest. Today, Tuesday May 4th is our 3rd Marking Period Report Card Parent Night. This marking period report card night will be held virtually as all others this year have been as well. If you have not scheduled an appointment with your child's teacher please reach out first thing in the morning. The time for meeting with your child's teacher is today from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
