The fall student pictures will be individual pictures only. Only students taking their picture do not have to wear their uniform. Students are to dress appropriately. All students are expected to wear neat, acceptable clothing which may include pants, shorts, shirts, dresses, skirts, blouses, and footwear at all times.
Please see the school email for more information about the types of prohibited clothing etc.

We are happy to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year! The Department of Special Education, in collaboration with Jersey City Free Public Library, would
like to extend an exciting opportunity to all Jersey City Public School students. All are welcome to participate in Fun Friday, every third Friday of the month. Please Pre-register for the presentation. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Today is our parent orientation “Open House.” Open House will be held virtually between the hours of 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Please check your email to receive any pertinent information from your child’s teacher. Staff will have multiple sessions to accommodate families with several children in different grade levels.

The first walkthrough is for PK through Grade 2 parents at 1:00 P.M. The second walkthrough is for 3rd - 5th grade parents at 1:30 P.M. Mrs. Faccone and I will be your friendly tour guides. The walkthrough is for parents/guardians only. Upon arrival at the school please wear a mask and be prepared for temperature screening, just as your child will do upon entering the school. We look forward to seeing you today!

We are entering the Final Week of the Teachers On-Call Summer program. Teachers will be available from July 6th - August 5th to answer questions and assist with summer packet assignments. See below for times and details.
