Many know that PS #11 is the oldest continual school site in the United States dating back to the 1660’s when the area was a Dutch Colony. However, did you know that there have been 6 school buildings in this location over the course of those years? The current PS #11 school was opened in 1969, after a fire destroyed the previous building, and was named in honor of Dr. King. Attached to this post you will find some pictures of the school building from the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries.
